I'm debating quitting myspace entirely. I think it's just about useless for someone who is not twelve years old.

@1 - Virb.com is pretty cool, and doesn't have these ads. Of course, I end up on the myspace more often, as more people are on there and use it for sending messages and stuff, so I'm sorta stuck. These ads drive me nuts too, though.

Weird. It just spit out McLovin at me.

@3 You're right, the ads suck. When I was living abroad, I got all of these ads for "Free US Visa" "Instant Greencard" and stuff like that... in Chinese. I like facebook, personally. I don't love it, but I'd rather deal with people I already know. People I don't know? That's what flickr is for. :-P

@2: This is off-topic and weird, but I'm curious as to what you mean by "Applesauce," because I have Thing with that word that goes back to when I was about three, and I'm interested to see if you had a similar experience.

This has been there for a while.

I think the word should be Sweetums. Or Honeylicious.

Never got a Myspace profile. I did break down and join Facebook ... but ultimately I'm sick of dealing with my social circles bouncing from one social networking site to another. From Friendster to Orkut to Tribe to Myspace to Facebook ... aaggggh! Pick a service and stay with it!
