All really great questions.
And why does it look like they're using pickaxes to shave her legs?
And what the hell is being advertised, exactly?
because they're dwarves.
Why is she the one the viewer is invited to make-over rather than the ugly and/or crazy little monochromatically dressed men?
"Why does she need evil little men to shave her legs for her?"
Holy shit that is funny!!!! I see this stuff and never really pay attention to it. But now that you mention it, yeah, why are there evil little dwarves shaving the giant's legs, in monochromatical outfits, and why is it a competition?
Because MySpace users are mentally challenged, and eager to be marketed to, and need only the slimmest of inducements to be persuaded to click on corporate comeons?
Myspace is lousy with those kind of ads-virtually all of them sexist, or just plain weird. I mean, slap the sumo wrestler? Wtf? Do we all have a latent desire to slap the belly of a sumo wrestler?
I have a few myspace ads that I've been collecting as well:
Be sure to check out the "Shoot the Gangsta Win a Free R***tone" one.
I've seen this one before, it gives me the creeps- I feel like the little hairs are going to fall onto my keyboard or something. ugh.
I saw a variant of this ad on songmeanings.net... when I was looking at the lyrics for "When they really get to know you they will run"
