'Final image,' Charles? Maybe it's just the beginning...

I think it's just a sci-fi movie trailer.

That's a little overblown. How about The Blair Witch Project meets Godzilla instead?

Battle Of The Gargantuas filmed on camcorders. For comic relief, the Gargantuas are fat, slothful americans who drink waaay too many slurpees and turn HUGE! Then they rage. Awesome.

Why did the building explode when the Statue of Liberty's head hit it?

Why do space ships explode in outer space in sci-fi movies? There'd be no fiery explosions in a vacuum.

That's what translates on film.

You throw the Statue of Liberty's head at a fucking skyscraper I had better see something blow up.

i don't see ho this relates much to either 9/11 or shock and awe. there have always been movies about new york in danger; haven't you ever seen ghostbusters II?

2 Centuries Ago Charles might not understand how the American movie goer absolutely LOVES seeing NYC destroyed in movies by meteors, tidal waves, monsters and whatever else it takes. It's in our DNA by now. We love it. It's instant goosebumps. The first time I saw The Statue Of Liberty's head bounce down a Manhattan street I was a cocktail of wide eyed awe and "Holy shit"s and all that stuff. Can't wait.

Oh yeah, did I mention it's Gargantuas. O.D'd on slurpies?
