simply amazing. the best documentary I think I've ever seen.
this film has a balance between comedy and poignancy that is really rare in documentaries.
I saw this at SIFF, and LOVED IT. Also, Steve Wiebe is handsome for reals.
Greg Whiteley directed "New York Doll"--and a fine film it is, too. Gordon provided the visual effects (I don't recall that there were many).
Never trust a man in a colored shirt with a teensy, teensy knot in his wide tie. Seriously, that thing is the size of a malted milk ball. It's just not right.
"T-I-E?"
"Noooo... U-S-A."
This photo does not do justice to his fabulous hair.
This film was excellent. I really did tear up at the end and Steve Weibe is a truly decent human being.
