Americablog has a great rundown on tonight’s HRC/LOGO Forum.

I gotta say, Richardson is toast. He blew it. His campaign is over. Not because he's lost the gays with "it's a choice", but because he completely fell down in a debate. He needs to pick up constituencies, not blow up on them. He's done. It's too bad, because I like the guy and think he'd be a good President. But he's never going to finish higher than sixth in any primary.

Obama wins this debate, but Hillary's answer is going to work better nationwide. The question is, how big an issue is gay panic going to be November after next (sigh)? I don't think it will matter as much as it does now, which puts Obama still ahead from tonight's result.

Richardson has always been a non-starter in my opinion. Sadly it was his false claim to have been a MLB player.

I think Obama wins this one.

Clinton is going to have a hard time rebuilding the bridges her husband burnt with the gays. I know it's one of the big reasons she's not my first choice but if she gets the nom I will happily vote for her.

While it's clear the interviewers understood the dynamic of the "black community" and LGBT issues, clearly no one understood that Richardson appears to be dealing with the same thing in his community. Unfortunately, Richardson didn't make us understand that and came across as a jittery mouse. Lame.

Obama wins this one.

Support the Democrats!

Support leave it to the states!!

Support Civil Unions in 4 states, Domestic Partnerships in a few others, marriage in one and no recognition whatsoever because of constitutional amendment in approximately 40 states.

Added bonus: USFG will extend rights to any state that wants them for you people as long as Clinton wins.

Your husband was a better liar, Hill.

Besides, according to you, we haven't really suffered enough.

Good enough for combat, not good enough for marriage. We preach equality equality equality yet we'll offer you an institution of your own, please don't taint ours.

There is equal, and then there is equal.

Jeez - even Hillary mentioned Southwick last night...and that was without a DiFi post. What a shithead!

1) I don't understand why people here think Richardson is "toast" because of his comments in this forum. This was a forum geared toward the gay community, and their vote does not mean anyone has lost this election. I'm sorry to say that but it's the truth.

2) Bill Richardson never had a chance in the first place.

3) None of the viable candidates seemed to think that marriage should be a right for everyone. That is pretty disappointing.
