Hey, that's great! Why they targeted GayGamer.net out of all of the gay sites out there, I don't know. GayGamer is barely gay if you ask me. I guess gamers are getting their panties in a bunch over the idea that fags enjoy video games as well.

And how dare those fags go to a site designed specifically for them!? Shut it down. That'll show 'em.

All kidding aside, it doesn't matter where you go on gaming sites, you'll find homophobia to the max. The words 'fag', 'faggot', and 'gay' are used excessively by gamers in general. Questioning the other person/player's sexuality has become a mandatory taunt for (based on my experience) 97% of gamers. Whether that's in the game or on the message boards, it's the #1 means of insulting someone.

When that happens to you, simply reply back that you are gay. Watch the sparks fly from the rest of the people in the room. I guarantee you, they will.

OK, who here didn't know gaygamer.com existed before reading this?

*raises hand*

While it sucks, this is probably the publicity the site has been ultimately hoping for, to get some good out of the bad.

Excerpt from \"Say Yes To War\" by Dan Savage October 2002

\"In the meantime, invading and rebuilding Iraq will not only free the Iraqi people, it will also make the Saudis aware of the consequences they face if they continue to oppress their own people while exporting terrorism and terrorists. The War on Iraq will make it clear to our friends and enemies in the Middle East (and elsewhere) that we mean business: Free your people, reform your societies, liberalize, and democratize... or we\'re going to come over there, remove you from power, free your people, and reform your societies for ourselves\"

Hey ... (aka loser who can't even use his own name, much less come up with a witty nickname), since you're such an avid reader of Dan's, you would already know that Dan addressed that essay he published, took responsibility for it and admitted that it was a mistake and that he was wrong.

But, of course, you already know that, right? And I guess you've NEVER been wrong about anything, right? It's so much easier to sit back in your shrowd of cowardly anonymity and judge others, isn't it?

@ 3:

How tiresome.

Yeah... The war is all Dan's fault. It was his idea, he has the contacts in the conservative government, the ear of the president.

Yup, it's all his fault. All because he wrote that essay. Especially since nobody else, nobody at all, was calling for invading Iraq. Nope, not one person.
