I didn't realize that there was a way to "honorably" or "dishonarbly" fondle ones genitals..

Honorable genital fondling occurs only in the presence of other men.

As a Coloradan and Denverite- Rocky Mountain News is neither big League nor Mainstream- it is a local rag with considerable conservative leanings--- but getting Haggard bad press in a conservative rag is possibly more important to me than it being in the progressive papers and outlets- in the leftist outlets its preaching to the chior but if just one fundie from COlorado Springs sees it and stops from sending their money to their poor poor vilified preacher (sarcasm) then I'm happy- its not enough to remind us progressive folks that religious fundimentalism is a social disease but I'd like to slowly chip away at the financial support that goes to these mega churches by causing doubt among the flok.

YES!!! I don't care how lowly a publication anyone thinks the Rocky is, it's mainstream in Denver and this story is getting the press it deserves.

THANK YOU DAVE COFFMAN!

To their credit, flying to meet Haggard in person is exactly the honorable thing for Haggard's overseers to do. If Haggard was a Catholic priest, his business would have been covered up no matter how many sins he committed.

I'm having a little trouble with Puberty's defense that the Dutch women were "in the men's area" at the pool -- as if it's normal and acceptable to stand out in the open jerking off as long as only men can see you. Ugh.

Also: he fucked his foster daughter in the ass.

How surprising that a man like that would be involved in a charity scam.

Look for my story in the Rocky Mountain News tomorrow. I am glad this story broke and it makes feel better that I did do the right thing. MJ

NELBOT @ 4, don't lie to the Seattle folk. The RMN is very much a big daily, more conservative than the Denver Post but no less mainstream for that.
