I would like to go as I have a tattoo on my back that needs to be touched up, but $20 admission! What do you get for the $20? Is there a goody bag or something? Will there be full on naked bodies covered in tattoos on display? Any tattooed johnsons for one to ogle?
You get to kick it with guys like THIS!
the renaissance fair is cheaper and promises more LOLs - see you there
I like that booth at the Renaissance Faire where you can throw tomatoes at peoples heads. That and the shelf boobies. That guy in the picture is NOT worth $20. I wanna see a johnson tattooed to look like a centipede or something gross like that. I mean $20 is like a pair of underpants at American Apparel for crying out loud!
Since I have a booth there this year, I am partial. I think you have to really be into this to understand why it is worthy the price of entry... you have access to some of the world's top artists - they are at your disposal for a great tattoo. For example, the Sideshow studio tat artists are all actual artists before they are hired, so you know you are getting a very artistic, well designed tat. The local tat artist around the corner from home might not be quite as accomplished, who knows.
Products geared toward tat lovers abound - from baby clothing to tattooed purses! Contest can be fun to watch and they go on all day and night, along with some pretty great people-watching. I personally love seeing all the face tattoos and saw a guy yesterday with a huge red kiss mark tattooed right on his cheek, amazingly brave and crazy stuff!
Guess you need to really dig tats to understand why it's worth the admission price, personally I would pay it even if I weren't already in the industry.
