on…pastor’s recent arrest.
A Baptist minister has been charged in Tennessee with indecent exposure and driving under the influence. Police said 58-year-old Tommy Tester of Bristol, Va., was wearing a skirt when he was arrested last week after allegedly relieving himself in front of children at a car wash.A report also accuses Tester of offering police officers oral sex and says an open bottle of vodka and empty oxycodone prescription bottle was found in his car when Tester was arrested Friday.

Psh. I totally tried to tell you this here.
Now this guy knows how to have a good time.
He will be 'cured' after serving time and finding God...again.
When I was growing up, "They Will Know We Are Christians. . ." was one of my favorite hymns. I'm going to have to do an iTunes search for my favorites.
Thank goodness, though, I grew up Disciples of Christ and not Baptist. Those Baptist ministers are nutso.
Some people just WANT to be caught.Getting arrested is the only way out.
Ditto, Matt -- although I was raised in the Churches of Christ (who think the Disciples are whacko liberals). And Dan, if you want to reference the song in the headline, "And they'll know we are Christians by our ..." is the actual line.
This combines the "every child"... with "they'll know we are Christians..." stories. AND, it happened two doors down from my house.

this could happen to anyone, singling out any one relgious culture is inaccurate. God gave us all a free will, how we use it - is up to us. Regretably this man choose to give into sin.
@8: It wouldn't need singling out if the Christianists in this country weren't so busy singling themselves out as above this and lambasting the rest of us. This didn't "happen" to him. He made a series of choices, like folks do all the time. The difference is he spends his time in the pulpit demonizing others who make poor choices - or who just enjoy their lives differently than him.
@6--And the Quakers in my hometown thought we were fundamentalist loons! Ah, denominations. Frankly I don't trust anyone belonging to a denomination that doesn't take communion every Sunday. And I certianly don't trust male pastors who wear skirts!
@8--I'm joking.
Man, this guy sounds mixed up. Who does he think he is, a Catholic priest?
BWAHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!!!
How long before we hear this jerkoff's apology to his flock???
I love this shit.... uptight judgemental pricks... Karma is a bitch
2lesmoms, 10 gets you 1 that he'll point to the vodka bottle and the Oxycodone and say there's where the blame lies. I guess he'll be hoping that his flock is sufficiently Baptist and inexperienced that they won't know that such things don't put desires in your head, but lower your inhibitions on acting on them.
Rev. Tommy Tester (what a name!), the drugs didn't make you do it, they let you do it.
