To protect the victims. If the name of the father was published, the names of the victims could be more easily determined. They are entitled to whatever privacy they can hang on to, if that is their desire.

No doubt, just the fact that it is a preacher with two daughters narrows the list more than a little, but at least its some semblance of effort at protecting the privacy of the victims.
