Weird. I thought I'd read a very similar article. Turns out Andrew Lim is making a name for himself as mumblecore's chief advocate, he wrote about it (and Bujalski) last year, too [nyt].
Either way, I'm glad that NWFF is doing the series, but I'm a little disappointed that they aren't showing Funny Ha Ha or Mutual Appreciation again.

I liked Hannah Takes the Stairs alright. Lots of banal humor. Hannah is also hot and very nude throughout.
