I earn way less today than I did in 2000, and not because of Bush or 'bubbles'. It was by choice - getting rid of the car and moving to Burien helped.

I can't believe that Vick only stands to get one year. And he probably won't even serve a day when it is all said and done.

Hopefully when he rats out all the big guys on the racketeering charges, they will make him suffer as he dies.

Dean isn't done yet. It should hit the Bay of Campeche later today, where it's expected to pick up speed again before making landfall on the eastern Mexican mainland in a day or two at most.

Courts Protect Violent Video Games: Succession of rulings says video games are protected by the Constitution.

Okay, let's try that again with basic logic:

Courts Uphold Constitutional Protection for Violent Video Games: Succession of rulings say video games are protected speech.

Christ, no wonder Bush can ramble on about "activist judges" and have the whole country just nod stupidly and hand him the point.

For the three of you out there who care about these things -

Endeavor has landed safely at KSC.

I love it that the WH spokesperson said rich people making out on the tax cuts was not " a very interesting story." Naturally, for him it wasn't.

Why should taxpayers pay for the health care of middle income kids? By the definition of middle income, these parents are not poor. People, if we really don't want our economy to collapse, stop blaming Bush and start blaming the lazy entitlement mentality that is pushing our country over the cliff toward into the nanny-sate tyranny of socialism.

@10 - why do you hate America, raindrop?

Meanwhile we US taxpayers are subsidizing health care for Iraqis who pay no US taxes.

Hmmm. Let's just leave and stop paying that instead.

Oh please Will. You know better than that. I love and participate in helping the poor -- but just how far up the scale though do you want to go? Do you want to pay fat rich kids' insulin for their type two diabetes?

Well, I'm not particularly jealous of Iraqis' U.S.-funded "health care". It's a little like Michael Moore going on and on about the wonderful free health care that Guantanamo inmates receive. Yes, they receive the bestest quality health care, which they'll desperately need after getting tortured.

Yeah, that "entitlement mentality" that has led the Europeans and Canadians to develop superior health care systems, shorter work weeks, fair pay and better quality of life; Goddamn commies.

I said I don't want to pay for Iraqi health care with US tax dollars. Comprende, @12 raindrop?

Which part of Leave Now don't you get?
