I saw comments in another blog that said exactly what I was thinking. He'll resign today at 4:45pm.

They should appoint him as AG.

After all, he's just as truth-disabled as the rest of the Red Bushies, and just as pervy.

I said this before, but I'll say it again:

Larry Craig is a lying sack of shit and deserves all the crap coming his way.

BUT, the police officer is a total and complete ASSHOLE who SOLICITED sex from another adult by tapping his foot on the floor. This is pure and fucking simple entrapment. And is it a crime to bump someone's foot under the stall? Is it a crime to swipe your fingers under the stall?

I'm conflicted because I hate HATE Larry Craig, but I loathe LOATHE the fucking police officer for ENTRAPPING people.

Were he smart, he really should have resigned the day after he plead guilty, effective immediately.

Of course, were he smart, he'd have a lobbyist supply him with boys, rather than cruise public restroom stalls.

No no no! Craig needs to maintain his innocence and boldy seek re-election in 2008. To resign would be an admission of guilt (or rather, a confirmation of his first admission of guilt). Craig in '08!

Did I mention that the Democrat challenger for his seat next year is an Army vet?

I don't want him to resign. Perving in the toilets is illegal and wrong, but it doesn't have anything to do with his senatorial duties.

Besides, it's so much nicer to see him twisting in the breeze like this.

Yeah, I don't care of he resigns or not. If he stays the GOP will run someone against him in the primary and if he resigns then the Repub gov will appoint another asshat so resigning just doesn't make that big of a difference.

As for the cop in the stall... he's not the reason Larry made a pass. Larry went in there to get busy with someone, he was just unfortunate enough to pick a cop who was there because people were complaining that dudes were getting busy in the restroom.

Seriously, as crappy as gays may think they have it we ARE able to live out of the closet thus eliminating the need to get sneaky bathroom sex. And the ones who are just turned on by sneaky bathroom sex already know they could get caught which is part of the thrill.

Larry "Wide Stance" Craigslist wants it both ways. He wants to be a gay hating right-wing fucktard but he wants a little dick too. I have no sympathy for Craig and don't blame the cop for doing his job.

Not only that but the cop has provided us with the soundbite that sums up the state of our government. "Embarrassing. Embarrassing. No wonder why we're going down the tubes."
