onMayor Greg Nickels’s son, Jacob Dylan Nickels, has admitted his involvement in a casino-cheating ring accused of bribing dealers in seven states and cheating casinos out of millions of dollars, the AP reports. He will plead guilty to one count of conspiracy and four counts of stealing funds from a Native-American gaming establishment.

His punishment should be to pave the Burke Gilman Trail under the Fremont Bridge, which Greg Nickels promised to do a month ago.
HA!
My guess is he's going to go state's evidence on the gangsters who ran the show. Nickels was the tiniest potato in the bunch.
So, speaking of the Burke-Gilman Trail under the Fremont Bridge, isn't it supposed to reopen this weekend?
And, if not, why not?
Or do we need to show you what public action looks like?
Poor bastard.
As though being on the cover of the Seattle Weekly last week wasn't bad enough!
so not news - if he were not related to the mayor
god, how the media makes no sense most of these days, what fucked priorities, including you Erica
who gives a shit, he will pay dearly for his lapse into the criminal world
there must be thousands of attempts a day to scam casinos - taking back some of they money they scam - oh, sure, all games are honest, hah, hah, ho, ho
At least he wasn't speeding in a hybrid with a bong and a pile of pills.
@7
He may not have been speeding around with it this time, but I've smoked weed with him in the past... as have many others.
@8 - Morally reprehensible kiss and tell? For shame!!!
That Weekly story was seriously well written. Don't always like what they do, but that was fine reporting.
If Jake turns evidence on the mob, then I wonder if he will have to go into the Witness Protection Program. They could set him up to manage a pet store in Pittsburg, or maybe as a barista in Boise. That would make for a cool episode of Law & Order.
