Who dumps a mattress in a park?
Perhaps this was some high-concept way of mocking the inadequacy of Cal Anderson’s trash cans (there are definitely too few of them), or an attempt at taunting the homeless people who sleep on the grass nearby. But I doubt it. Probably just hyper-aggressive littering. Lame.

Obviously it art...a new display to being awareness to people sleeping in Cal Anderson Park.

The public intern could always find out where these things go? I never see the garbage get dumped and I never see it leave. Who takes those couches on the side of the road?
