But I hate, and not just a little, that fucking rehab song with a passion.

artists with fucked up lives make the best music (ie - edith piaf, kurt cobain). it's just hard as a fan to watch the ensuing trainwreck, and realize that this sad story has been lived so many times before.

That said, enjoying Amy Winehouse records has ALWAYS been in poor taste. She's about as soulful as the Geico gecko. If her drug and man problems keep her from making any more records, it's a win. Maybe she'll find time to take a shower.

All celebrity nonsense aside. It is just sad that she is that fucked up as a human being. I'm sure she is miserable and that is sad. I've only hear her one song about how she doesn't want to go to rehab. At least she's honest in the song.

Look..I'll admit it. I'm a pop-music whore. I was Waaaay late to the Amy Winehouse party discovering her music only afte hearing "I'm no good" on AMC's Mad Men. I disovered "Rehab" a few days later... Her music is excellent and I sincerely hope she doesn't end up choking to death on her own sick...but wait, that would be kind of rock & rolley wouldn't it?
