Like it fucking matters.
it may or may not fucking matter, but it's fucking hilarious either way.
Have no fear, Diebold voting machines will ensure a GOP VICTORY!!!!
Then I suggest mass suicide at that point.
Conservatives don't mind when they see 17 year olds with liberal views. It only reinforces their conceit that they are the grown ups. All the more so for Mr. Post-11.
it doesn't matter. but it's funny. and funny matters.
isn't there some famous quotation about policians fearing a good joke more than a powerful argument?
I think it does matter to some degree. The family values conservatives are going to see this as one more sign than he's not one of them.
Plus, it's funny as hell.
Rudy's conservative-republicaness has always been a bit of a technicality.
Gitai, I agree. I can't see how Guiliani can possibly present himself as a "family values" man while he's estranged from both his children.
dudes - i'm pissed she had to take it down. was she threatened by ghouliani's henchmen? come forward, caroline! she has a right to her own opinion. free speech dammit. it would be great if she could leave it up and then it would be an ongoing reality check throughout the campaign. now, it's just a blip on the screen and most people will be able to ignore it.
This would be more satisfying to me if it was one of the culture warriors' kids, like Huckabee or Brownback.
The Republican contenders remind me of my high school friends' (and my) Republican fathers: Bitter, angry old white men on their second or third wives whose kids hate their guts and who blame the blacks/gays/Jews/Mexicans/poor for their problems.
re:9 as much as she might like obama's politics over her dad's, most mature children would not want to be used as tools against their own parents. usually henchmen are not required.
Feinstein draws fire over vote for judge
Bob Egelko, Chronicle Staff Writer
Saturday, August 4, 2007
"The nomination is likely to pick up enough Democratic support to win Senate confirmation in the fall, despite a plea for a filibuster from the Leadership Conference on Civil Rights. The organization's vice president and policy director, Nancy Zirkin, said Friday she was "stunned and amazed" by Feinstein's vote."
Are you sure it's his daughter?
It might be his third wife. The thing about "family values" Red Bushies is they keep marrying younger and younger women as they start collecting Social Security.
what is funnier:
Guiliani's teenage daughter doing the Obama thing or CA senior Senator doing the Bush thing?
"Southwick, nominated to a court that rules on cases from Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas, has been the most disputed judicial candidate since Democrats took control of Congress in January. Civil rights groups, noting that the court has never had an African American judge, successfully opposed Bush's two previous candidates for the vacancy, Charles Pickering and Michael Wallace, and have led the opposition to Southwick.
Bush issued a statement calling the committee approval 'a refreshing victory for the American judicial system.'"
I dunno, Dan. It seems to me that for someone as superstitious as you, you're tempting fate an awful lot lately. What would you do if as a teenager D.J. decided to work for the RNC as an act of rebellion?
or even worse, Dan...what if DJ put posters of DiFi up in his bedroom?
THAT woman just guaranteed a position of power for a man that doesn't have a problem taking biological children from their non-heterosexual parents.
What is it with the freaking monomaniacal posters here? Save the DiFi stuff for a post about DiFi, you shithead.
You are so right, fnarf.
I can't think of anything funnier than Guiliani's daughter's facebook link to some other assholes facehole book page whatever something...except of course millions of Democrats voting for an old two faced hag just because she is a democrat and having her on a committee is really good for the country.
I'll just wait for the DiFi post to appear while I collect myself from all of the laughter.
Excerpt from \"Say Yes To War\" by Dan Savage October 2002
\"In the meantime, invading and rebuilding Iraq will not only free the Iraqi people, it will also make the Saudis aware of the consequences they face if they continue to oppress their own people while exporting terrorism and terrorists. The War on Iraq will make it clear to our friends and enemies in the Middle East (and elsewhere) that we mean business: Free your people, reform your societies, liberalize, and democratize... or we\'re going to come over there, remove you from power, free your people, and reform your societies for ourselves\"
