dudes - i'm pissed she had to take it down. was she threatened by ghouliani's henchmen? come forward, caroline! she has a right to her own opinion. free speech dammit. it would be great if she could leave it up and then it would be an ongoing reality check throughout the campaign. now, it's just a blip on the screen and most people will be able to ignore it.
This would be more satisfying to me if it was one of the culture warriors' kids, like Huckabee or Brownback.
The Republican contenders remind me of my high school friends' (and my) Republican fathers: Bitter, angry old white men on their second or third wives whose kids hate their guts and who blame the blacks/gays/Jews/Mexicans/poor for their problems.
