It's a little known fact that Catholics are technically only allowed to eat pork from a hog that has had it's testicle bitten off by a priest.

It's also a little known fact (John Hodgman though surely is a aware of this one) that it was the abolition of this practice in the early 20th century with a shortage of priests and a need for pork meat during the Great War, that gave rise to practice of priests' sucking on the (usually) enscrotummed testicles of altar boys.
