Tennis blows. The M's blow like Larry Craig on 24-hour layover at SFO.

Go Sox! Destroy the Evil Empire!

Or, root for the Sounders, who are actually making a run at not only the USL title, but the US Open Cup. After already beating both Chivas and Colorado of the MLS, they're playing FC Dallas on Sept. 4.

The pennant/wild card race is still on, you know. Didn't you just call out fairweather fans yesterday?

Yes, this was a poor showing, but not the end of the world (as @6 points out).

There is a big series at the Yankees coming up which could determine the outcome of the wild-card race. Hopefully, the M's don't choke on that one too.

And, four more with the Angels in a few weeks (God forbid).

My bad, Buffalo.

Still a lot of games to play. M's are having a tough stretch and blew a golden opportunity against the Angels, but I'm sure that they the M's themselves - they who matter most - aren't saying "fuck us".

Go M's!

Yes, go Ms. I was having a moment of despair, in a bar, late at night, drunky, when I scheduled this post. Damn kirs at Liberty!

Can I root for both of them? Rafa is YUM-MAY!

Fuck, I went to two of those friggin games. No fan frustration quite like your team getting pushed around by the team that's got the slimmest of leads over you in the division.

Oh, uh, but still go M's! Cleveland today 4:05p.

New Rule: You can never bitch about pro athletes being anti-gay and homophobic and still attend their events!!!

Still routing for the M's, but Rafa is the MAN. Just check out those guns!

Hey, Savage, back off! You've had your shot at cradle robbing! (Just kidding, darling.)

I heard the only reason any gay man would like sports is cause he's hot for the athletes. I guess that was true. Thanks for confirming that.

Oh yeah...Rafael is HOT. I can only stand to watch tennis if two hot guys are playing, but one Rafael will do it.

Baseball is okay as long as it's live...that ballpark atmosphere is priceless, but doesn't play on TV. And the players as a whole are not that cute, which makes me glad that their uniforms provide full, baggy coverage.
