Yes, serve the whole term. Don't let the people forget what kind of jerk-off (hee hee) he is.

If Vitter gets to stick around, then so should Craig.

Of course Frank would think that Craig should serve out his term. As a good Democrat, Frank want's Craig's bloated Republican corpse festering in DC and Idaho right up to the 2008 election.

Frank's support is about as helpful as Castro's

Barney Frank is just taking the principled stance that being gay does not by itself warrant a resignation from office.

I would expect any gay-friendly person to take the same stance.

I admire Senator Frank. He is both a principled man and a very funny man. He is definitely near the top of my 'politicians I would want to have a drink with' list.

@7 Being gay doesn't warrant resignation. Being involved in a sex scandal doesn't warrant resignation. Being a huge fucking hypocrite about both and then getting caught does.

He'll just need a hall pass to use the Senate Toilets I guess. AND if he is cruising the Union Station bathrooms, well more power to him. The stench in there makes the toilet in Traispotting look absolutely endearing.

could someone explain the logistics of putting your hand under the stall divider? doesn't seem like the best angle for a handjob.

Barney Frank is a great guy, and I don't really give a shit if he is gay or not. He says what he thinks, is much more intelligent than the usual Congressidiot, and is always entertaining. So, I take him at his word. But this Potato-state asshole should burn in the special corner of Hell reserved for public demagogues and hypocrites. @5 makes an excellent point.

God, I love Barney Frank. Articulate, Jewish, gay, liberal -- kind a reminds me of Eli (but not as cute).

More and more column inches about the potty putz pulling scandal of 2007. The goi will never grasp the power of sitra ahra as long as we keep churning this nonsense about the Minneapolis Airport restroom. We don't want the goi wonder if everyone might have a sitra ahra even conservative Senators. Sitra ahra drives each of us into seemingly hypocritical actions.

Sex scandals have worked for centuries, millenia really to confuse the goi. As long as there are Senators and beautiful men in the world there'll always be a scandal for the front page of the paper.

Tikkum Olam today requires distracting the goi from the war and nothing works better than a potty putz pulling Senatorial sex scandal.

Nice. So NOW someone comes up with the brilliant idea that one's sex life isn't absolutely and irrationally linked to how well they perform their job? Wasn't it just a few years that the President almost got impeached over a blow job?

Nevertheless, this hypocritical behavior by our politicians only underlines the double standard regarding sex in our society.
