As for the new statue of Nelson Mandela in Parliament Square, London?
To be honest, it’s not all that. More love should have gone into this work. As is, it looks rather uninspired, empty, passionless, as dry a carrot. And what the hell are his bronze hands doing? Are they sizing up the stuff of Samora Machel’s widow?
It looks like a giant mutant Nelson Mandela is about to attack those people standing in front of him.

I liked the episode where Mecha-Mandela battled Bothra.
Mandela looks kind of stoned in that sculpture.
It looks like he's making hand signs. WESTSIDE!

He also appears to be standing crookedly.
His head is frighteningly large.
