<description><![CDATA[<p>A point of clarification: The people he hit weren't "homeless" in the sense we Americans understand the word. They are what are known in India as "pavement dwellers". They live right there, on the edge of the road, probably in a hut made of plastic, wood, and cardboard. Millions of people live this way in Indian cities. </p>
