Last night’s record-breaking homerun—from the the right field stands.
wtf. people are retarded.
oh, and... steroid abuse + bonds' smugness = i couldn't give a shit.
jameyb says it best.
jameyb, it's not out of any particular loyalty to bonds that I paste and edit:
'oh, and... willful mlb ignorance to help fill seats + looking for a scapegoat to dry their hands off with now that things are arollin' again = i ain't gonna come down on bonds.'
bonds-blamers can just get comfortable with the code phrase: aaron did it the right way.
Who gives a fuck? There's a guy in Japan with 155 more home runs than Bonds.
Watch at 2:06 --- in a way I think it is so pretty when all of the flashes from cameras are exploding like stars.
the only cool thing about the b.s.
Is 756 the number of home runs he's hit or how much his head now weighs?
woah! an old rich guy hit a ball w/ a stick! i did that when i was a kid too. then i had to grow up and do something meaningful w/ my life.
It's really cute when bloggers talk about sports!
@7 So if you were really good at hitting that ball you wouldn't have made a career out of it? You would have instead grown up and gotten a "real" job?
that video could trigger an epileptic seizure.
@9- i didnt say "real". i said "meaningful". big difference.
Ha ha. For the first 30 seconds or so I was thinking "that's pretty cool," especially seeing the ball get closer to the camera, but by the end of the video I was slightly weirded out by these people.
@11, yeah, great. ok so once again....you would pass on the millions, the fame and the glory to do something "meaningful" instead?
This totally harshes my opinion of San Francisco...
brad - If I could step out on a baseball field full of other pros, clear my mind enough to assess the obstacles and intangibles in front of me, translate that into an immediate, near unthinking and precise physical array of actions that propagate my will, thereby weaving my actions into the overall fabric of my teammates' efforts to do the same, having a positive part in creating an overall team success that this amalgam endeavors to extend for the longest possible stretches of time, I'd bet my millions that it would all feel quite meaningful.
I'm not pissed about it, though, brad. I'm the next best thing. A fan!
"slightly weirded out..."?
now this was a waste of bandwidth.
Clips like these could revolutionize the way sports are covered. Wait.. I don't work in that industry anymore - I don't care!
That clip is on steroids. Dumb.
