I just want to say, that out of all the things you could write about, you write this crap. More self-indulgent crap. Where does it end? How big can your ego be? How long can a human being explore the inner bowels of a meaningless life? Apparently, for a very, very, very long time. Why don't you pop a few thousands hits of acid and blow your lame ego to hell, so we can read something worthwhile reading for a change. Please and thank you.

John Carpenter's The Thing kicks ass. It holds up really well too. I watched it again not too long ago.

John Orr... I know what it is to be angry all the time and it's not healthy. Smoke some pot.

FOr what it's worth JCs version does a better job of capturing the essence of the original short story. The bit in the black and white oine where they pace out the diameter of the buried saucer is still classic though.

Keep watching the skies!

I had the biggest crush on Kurt Russell after seeing Escape From New York and the Thing. I never saw any of his Disney movies, so I had no preconceived notions about Kurt Russell. I still carry a flaming torch for the guy. Well, maybe the torch is really for Snake Plissken, not Kurt, but ya know, whatev.
