<description>Briefly, the news: As noted by Adam Sekuler at Northwest Film Forum&apos;s Hot Splice, two filmmakers with local ties made it into Filmmaker Magazine&apos;s annual roundup of fresh talent. Congrats to Adam Blubaugh and Calvin Reeder (who&apos;s mostly in LA now, but still counts). <description><![CDATA[<p>Matching <i>Film Shorts</i> to show time listings is a great thing, undeniably, for people looking at show times.  Me, I like browsing the <i>Film Shorts</i> start to enjoy seeing how writers try to convey a film's essence in so few words, and the occasional brilliance achieved.</p>

<p>With that in mind, can the full-length <i>Film Shorts</i> be brought back to the website?  I'm still in Japan, and don't have easy access to the print version.</p>]]></description>
