I hope her PR machine finds a way to sell her to people other than women in their 40's, who will already vote for her. She needs a more broad appeal. Her debates are working out ok to grab some immediate attention, but the marketing has been very stale so far.

I hope that Obama and Clinton join forces early in the primaries. =)

Eli, how is the GOP race looking in Iowa? I heard that Romney was far ahead, since he has been dumping money on all the early primary states. Is this true?

I saw an Obama in 2008 bumper sticker on a car this morning. It was driven by an old white proffessorial dude. It brought tears of joy to my eyes.

When do we all give up the idea of Gore getting into the race? I am "officially" a Obama Man but secretly in my heart or hearts cry out for a Gore Presidency....

Although I consider myself a minor political wonk, my heart isn't really in this battle. Between Hillary, Obama, and Edwards, I don't have a strong preference. None are perfect. All are acceptable. I could live with any one of these three. I have a mild leaning toward Obama, but if he doesn't win, that's fine.

My only concern at this point is that all of them are raising a hell of a lot of money right now. I hope the primary doesn't get too ugly, to the point where they do lasting damage to the eventual Democratic winner. Democrats are notorious for their circular firing squad.

Fuck this.

:: Insert lengthy diatribe about the Bush administration's complete lack of any sense of ethics here. ::

No point in writing another diatribe. Sadly, diatribes against the Bush administration are just getting redundant.

*sigh*
