Only 16 percent of the young adults surveyed aged 18 to 30 said that they read a newspaper every day and 9 percent of teenagers said that they did. That compared with 35 percent of adults over 30. Furthermore, despite the popular belief that young people are flocking to the Internet, the survey found that teenagers and young adults were twice as likely to get daily news from television than from the Web. The same thing can be said for the Stranger -que no? I recall only one metal piece about Slayer in the Stranger years ago- it was about the bands' dedicated fans and it was quite good. For the most part the S's music section covers mopey white guy music-not that there is anything wrong with that- but other than mocking metal, like Grandy's recent hilarious post about Black metal poses- the Stranger never writes reviews about metal. I havent read anything about bands like Mostadon or Lacuna Coil or any other decent metal bands. Same can be said for your coverage of Rap, though you do a great job covering Hip Hop and Mizell's colum is off da hook, very little is written about rap-the music of the black under class. Im not trying to start anything, just an observation.
