Arts Rain 4 U

onTo reverse the experience you’d have outside right now, go to the Henry Art Gallery, march down the entry ramp, make your first left, your first right, and your first right again.
Sit in the dark room and take in Oliver Boberg’s Country Road (Landstrasse), one long rainstorm with the sound of a dog bark in the distance and the on and off of a light in the house behind the hedge. The fact that it’s a stage set makes it even more beautiful, not to mention service-oriented for the Summer-SAD Northwesterner. (A short loop plays here for the deskbound.)

Puurrdy.
Wasn't there another piece similar to this one at Western Bridge about a year ago? Either way - very nice.
@ # 2, It's the same piece - part of Western Bridge's show 19 Rainstorms, which ran from March to May 2006. One of the fantastic things about WB is that they donate an artwork from each exhibition to the Henry. Some of the other works that have recently entered the Henry's collection this way are Shirin Neshat's Possessed and Carsten Holler's Neon Circle.
