Unfortunately I don't think I am young or hot enough to go near the Mambo Room in Wallingford.
By the way, Ebb & Flow is officially closed and Chow Foods are putting the building up for sale. Maybe we could get a Red Mill here in Wallingford. The space is too small to be profitable as a bar or full service restaurant. If they got rid of the bar they would easily fit as many tables in as the Phinney Ridge Red Mill.
Did you even try the Daily Grill's Happy Hour? At $2.95 they are nearly giving them away and they are much better than anything McCormick's has to offer for happy hour.
Ahi Tuna for $2.95?!
Their famous Pot Pie, which will cost you $16 for an entree size, is also $2.95 during Happy Hour.
Calamari is also decent.
Bad part is that there are no drink specials so you will probably leave with a bigger bill then you intended. Also their menu/happy hour is the same from state to state so you are paying the same prices as the Daily Grill in Beverly Hills.
But I do think there is a large market for the “American Daily Grill. All those Seafood/Sushi-phobes relocated from Idaho/Spokane, who think that roasted chicken is exotic and that see asparagus as a weed that grows on the side of the road.
As an aside, The Parlor at Lincoln Square in Bellevue is awful. Lots of fights, and not even exciting ones... just suburban drunken ones.
Soon to be closing, if the stats are correct? 80% of one billion bars.
