I see now why you need this portal on space:
like any prisoner with a teaspoon
will scrape through cinderblock,
so too would you claw your way
through sheetrock to the icy moon
and call it resurrection.

It's like an AP English high school sophomore, desperately trying to get that A. It's so incredibly atrocious. The only worse thing I can think of that you could post would be anything by Sean Penn.

Mr. Poe,

Be glad they aren't putting any of *my* drivel on the site. Why is it atrocious? Is it atrocious to consider the unfulfillable dreams of the heart as an appropriate subject for poetry? Do you find the prisoner with a spoon image to be cliche? Or does it simply not resonate with your sensibilities?

Also, why the need to attack? Good god, man, in the great scheme of things you should feel lucky indeed if reading this poem is the worst thing that happens to you today.

Poetry is lost on me. Give me a pretty picture any day.

Well, rtm, I attack almost anything. Including myself. I'm also almost never serious. I am a prisoner of negativity! I should scrape through my mental cinderblock with a teaspoon. I should claw my way through sheetrock to the icy moon. Woe is me.

Woe is Poe

I just love that the Catholics are helping in this era of religous hatred. So, some pointers. Any church that is not in communion with the Holy See is heretical and need to be "taken care of" (See European history 16th and 17th Centuries for pointers). But I wonder if we are to actually burn the members of all the heretical "churches" or just the buildings themselves? What about George Bush? He is not Catholic, nor is Cheney.

Gee, I am so confused. I guess I should meet with a parish priest today after work for clarification. I mean you are either with Pope Benny or against him right?

Religion is, by definition, the root of all evil.

With so much hate and judgment to spread, as history shows us again and again, they get bored with bashing the sinners and the Godless. So they start attacking each other. Either with swords, guns, bombs, or documents.
