Everything is at least $50 these day, Brendan. I love, love, love Kathy Griffin. She cracks me up like Richie Pryor cracked me up, but a seat at The Paramount this November is $50. Seems a lot of people have it to spare. She's added a third night.

One good thing about seeing Izzard at the Rep: It's a bit more intimate than the Paramount. Should be a great evening. Since you're press, can't you get a comp?

That sounds like a one-man play or such production. If you like Eddie then it will probably be entertaining, but I wouldn't go expecting it to be your typical stand-up show.

On the flip side, if he's "workshopping" it ("test driving" it, basically) then you might get a chance to comment on it in some fashion. Then you just have to ask yourself how you feel about paying $50 to help Eddie improve his show. *heh* I do know people who would jump at the chance to be involved with a production in some fashion, even to the tune of $50.
