What would be helpful in this question is to know how Obama and Edwards are doing against Clinton other states so we can compare.

I don't know where to post this so I'm doing it here. I'm surprised no Sloggers have seen this yet:

nationwide Obama is leading in fundraising and no. of donors, Clinton behind, and Edwards very far behind.
clinton is ahead in th epolls by a large margin.

It may be that Clinton has simply decided not to focus on our State because or our self chopsen insignificance in th eprimary process. We chose not to have a primary, meaning Clinton may have chosen to not put effort into organizing the arcane caucus process. And our caucus date is after the all important Feb. 5th super primary.

The problem was more likely with the organizers and very poor promotion. The luncheon (on a Sat afternoon no less) was originally a MIN of $1000, not $500, and no one that I talked to had even heard about it (and I hang in pro-Hillary circles).

"...will be a certain tidbit I’ve uncovered about her campaign in Washington State..."

Eli: your certain "tidbit" seems to be more "bit" than "tid". So you're saying because the local Demos reduced the Hillary fundraiser attendance fee from $500 to $250, political haruspices should be able to divine karmic campaign disaster from this small pot ante.

Billiam on his own account commands more in honoraria than anyone else on earth - when they need more money, he will get it. And on January 20, 2009, they will become this century's William and Mary:

"Whilst William was away fighting, his wife, Mary II, governed the realm, but acted on his advice. Each time he returned to England, Mary gave up her power to him ungrudgingly. Such an arrangement lasted for the rest of Mary's life." [Wikipedia]

Lordy, have you guys no shame? My column, my column, my column. Read it here and here. Then QUOTING YOURSELF from "my column" written from a meaningless, unoriginal angle - a snapshot of a horse race that hasn't even hit the first turn. Topping it all off, "my column" was a lousy read.
