I got there in time for the shirts to run out. Granted, I didn't even know the Durant appearance was going to happen; just walked over from my house for a jog. He was pretty shy, quiet and polite at the event. I was tempted to wait around and ask him about his college days, as I'm also a Texas alum, but something tells me the one-year basketball star didn't have the same college experience that I did.

I wonder if this new line-up can win more than 31 games? Oh, and maybe we should get a coach.

Why is nobody castigating management for letting the team's most marketable asset go and getting nothing in return? They mishandled this in a big ass way. Fuck.

NOT ARGUABLY! They're as close as the post Sam Perkins Sonics got to heart and soul. Up yours, Sonics management. Again. Forever.

i am not trying to defend sonics management; i don't understand what they're doing. that said, i heard presti gave shard a good puch, but there really is just no way they could've kept him when orlando's putting $75 million on the table. (of course, there's also the whole been here for 9 years, nebulous future of the team's home, trading away ray)

did anyone seeing ray allen calling shard's departure?

“Now that I’m no longer there, I’m not even sure Rashard is going to want to come back. He wants to win and you almost think they are starting to rebuild with all these young players. I’m not sure Rashard is going to want to be a big brother to all these young guys.”
