Awkwardness: Now With More Feelings!

posted by on July 11 at 14:55 PM

The title of this post does not accurately convey my thoughts on Alopecia (which are, obviously, thoughts of deepest sympathy).

But it does convey my thoughts on the following video. “I am a painter and I paint abstract landscapes. From feelings.”

And now, Bald Lady Paints With Head. Please enjoy.

(Thanks, Leah!)

Michael: Well, yeah, but Stan Sitwell’s always had a wild hair to buy this business.

Lucille: It’s the only hair he’s got. What? He’s an alpaca.

Michael: He has alopecia.

Wow, she's like the total mirror opposite of that huge afroed paint-happy-trees guy.

So, when she says she's painting landscapes from feelings, she means the feeling of her head against the canvas. She got a little erratic with the head in that second painting. I much preferred her headstrokes in the first painting.

Why doesn't she just get a wig? She could still paint oceans with waves.

Is it just me or could you not help from watching all 9:30 of that video? Who was she "shh"-ing near the end there? Her unwatched children, perhaps?

people with alopecia don't need sympathy. sure - it can be lots harder for woman (and children) than men... but it's not anything that's going to make them die younger or have a shitty quality of life. it's just a life with no hair.

She should redecorate that hideous kitchen instead of wasting time painting landscapes with her bald head.
