Jesse MacBeth is a crusader against the war after what he saw firsthand as a solider in Ir- oh wait.
MacBeth, 23, of Tacoma, claimed to have killed more than 200 people, many at close range, some as they prayed in a mosque. He spoke at an antiwar rally in Tacoma and appeared in a 20-minute antiwar video that circulated widely on the internet.
Trouble is, none of MacBeth’s claims was true. He made it through only six weeks of army basic training, was never a Ranger and never set foot in Iraq.
The last thing the antiwar movement needs is key antiwar testimony from pathological liars.
Yes, I know everyone on our side is not a liar and some of the stories are true. But this sort of thing is meat in the Republican shark tank.

Which raises a question... he was able to get the government to give him disability benefits, but doesn't the VA and DOD computers sync up at some point? I mean, WTF. Oh, wait, this is the same gov't run by GWBUSH-League appointees. Will that gravy train ever run out?
Point of order: It was liberal, anti-war activists who doubted and began investigating him (aside from the boneheads who put him in a video without checking his story). Months ago. So, meat in the shark tank, but he wasn't exactly one of us.

Doesn't matter what your politics are, or even if you support or oppose the war, this jackass is an embarassment to all of us and belongs in jail.
Phenics, the VA computers don't even synch up with each other. I'll bet the VA has ten data systems, and the DOD has a thousand. Integrating the computer networks of government is impossible -- that's what the FBI said when they gave up after spending FOUR BILLION DOLLARS on theirs....
