It's too bad, because the picture of Paris bawling in the back of the police car was priceless. I'm sure the first 30 minutes of the Scarborough report will be devoted to it. Of course now that the Chemistry Department's graduation is about to start, I'll be luck if I get to post again today.

I missed the Producers BOTH in Chitown and on opening week in NYC (before they instituted the ahem 'innovative' ticketing prices). I stumbled into a closing-week night in LA with Jason Alexander and Martin Short and even though I knew it was going to be funny it was, well, hella funny. When I heard YF was workshopping here I was practically calling gambling debts to see it here earlyish.

That said: can a Blazing Saddles musical really be that far off? I suppose the real challenge in the Brooks films of this time to bring to the stage would be Silent Movie.
