To quote Abba Eban, "The Palestinians never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity."

That's what you wanted right? By cutting off financial resources of the Palestinian government as punishment for the resounding victories of Hamas in democratic elections? Wasn't that the point? To create disincentives for Palestinian parties to cooperate? Wasn't that the Israeli US policy? Isn't that what you wanted?

Your self-satisfaction is making me nauseous.

This seems like the Israeli plan all along: divide and conquer. Every step of Israel's forced isolation of Gaza and the West Bank has led up to this, and will continue to lead toward the dessimation of the Palestinian people. It breaks my heart.

"Many of [Israel]'s most successful entrepreneurs are using Israel's status as a fortressed state, surrounded by furious enemies, as a kind of twenty-four-hour-a-day showroom--a living example of how to enjoy relative safety amid constant war. And the reason Israel is now enjoying supergrowth is that those companies are busily exporting that model to the world." --Naomi Klein

yup this is really Israel's fault.
It's not the fault of Hammas.
They are just the tool or puppet of Israel.
They are not responsible for getting out their guns and eliminating their rival who was elected and taking over part of the Palestinian territory.
It's so hard to think about ace all this complexity, much better to revert to those archetype thoughts in my brain like "blame Israel! blame Israel! blame Israel for what Israel does -- AND what the Palestinians do to other Palestinians!"
