Today The Stranger Suggests

posted by on June 9 at 12:00 PM

Pretty Girls Make Graves (Last Show Ever) With six years and three full-lengths under their collective belt, Seattle’s Pretty Girls Make Graves are gracefully saying their goodbyes—they’ll perform two farewell shows tonight, then be gone forever. So even if you haven’t cared about ‘em since Good Health, you should come to one of tonight’s shows, ‘cause that’ll be your last chance to go crazy during “Speakers Push the Air.” Until, of course, they reunite for the Capitol Hill Block Party 2012. (Neumo’s, 925 E Pike St, 709-9467. 5 and 9 pm, $12 adv, all ages.) Megan Seling

Yeah, bring back Freaky Friday!! Fnarf, Mike, Carollani, Will, Gitai, Dave, Gomez, Kerri, and Elswinger all did a WAY better job than this lame crop today.

Elan Vital was not a bad album at all. It's just that the name "Pretty Girls Make Graves" graced the spine. It suggested the sound that many of us fell in love with was dead, never to return.

This Stranger Suggests blurb seems to suggest otherwise. Could somebody clarify?

I liked the show. Was there with a couple friends, we all had a good time. It was clear they all enjoyed making music and being on stage for one last show.
