How strange about the Salvia. I was just reading about it a couple of days ago, and all the misconceptions about its supposed similarities to LSD.
People should be far more concerned about other things than a short-lasting hallucinogen.
I'm of a mind that all drugs should be legalized and regulated so we don't have anymore of these interstate conflicts and overcrowded jails and Venezuelan drug cartels shooting up entire houses at night in some kind of vendetta reaction for owed money.

Ahh, the subtle charms of Ann Miller.

And I loved the little "gay" moment toward the beginning.

But my favorite is still the nightclub scene from Sweet Charity. That has been turning up in my dreams.

I'd be surprised if its effects really lasted an hour. I had the worst drug experience of my life, taking what turned out to be a pretty massive overdose, and even that was gone within about a half hour -- I think. Pleasant, it certainly was not.

Re Salvia: Next, let's ban dandelions. Dandelions grow wild all over the US and taste okay unless they have been sprayed with pesticide. These are a danger and a pest to good folk everywhere. Go go government! Go get 'em! Go get it! Good boys...

The DEA should be decentralized with authority given to the states. The war on drugs is a terribly oppresive and pointless ideology and needs to stop now.

Pot is safer than alchol and doesn't cause cancer... it is impossible to overdose on LSD and mushrooms... heroin could be regulated for use in hospitals...

Is this really worth all the deaths, gangs, and jailings?

Or could it be the federal government is able to make more money off of drugs staying illegal...

Texas Must Have Offended God Somehow: Storms of biblical proportions inundate George W. Bush�s home state, causing widespread flooding and stranding people on roofs, in cars.

Okay, I'll give you this one. If something like this were happening in San Francisco, Pat Robertson would definitely be on TV saying it was because of all the gayness.

Come to that, why don't they ever talk about how good the weather in Seattle is and how rare it is for us to have natural disasters? I mean, if the theory is that God smites places where people have it coming, Seattle must be the most virtuous place in the country.

Oh YES, Judah! God sees everything and clearly He is punishing Texas for some hidden sin that has not been exposed yet. Yes, God sees the hidden sin of sodomy going on in the restrooms of truck stops at night. Young hardened male bodies slapping against each other in a sweaty animal passion. The grunts and moans of carnal pleasure seeping into the ears of the Almighty. And yes, God knows all and sees all, so be assured when God shows his love for humanity with massive and irrational destruction he does so out of love. Texas floods and people die because Jesus loves you!!! I pray this in Jesus' name....

Seriously, unless we're willing to grant local LEA the exclusive franchise rights to "McDoobie's", it will never happen.

Cops are just as addicted to DEA funding and the proceeds from confiscating dealers assets as a Seattle rock musician is to smack.

Maybe that big old fence we're fixing to build on the border will keep out Satan's salvia, too. Of course, every landscaper in Texas has planted thousands of mountain laurels over the past twenty years or so... guess someone forgot to tell them that the seed pods contain a powerful hallucinogen. In fact, the courtyard of the high school where I teach has about half a dozen of the little trees, blooming and seeding with wild abandon.
