Judging by the weather outside, I will be horrifyingly negative today.

I wish Donald Trump would get cancer and die.

I made the summer squash and risotto recipe from tomatoes and squash I grew myself. Yummy. Deborah Madison's a great cookbook writer and everyone needs a copy of Vegetarian Cooking For Everyone whether they're veggie or not.

In March when I flew to Seattle I had to throw out my daughter's sippy cup. Not such a biggie for me - she's over 2 years old and can manage a regular cup with assistance, but it was still inconvenient. On the return flight I just kept an empty sippy cup in my coat pocket and had no problems with TSA. Did that again in April when we went to Chicago, had no problems going either way.

The article on the Donald's new show says it's ripping of a British show (no surprise) but VH1 already ripped off the same show with "Flavor of Love: Charm School" so he's not only ripping off the Brits but he's being a copycat of a ripoff.

Mmm, those recipes look lovely. I hope we're growing summer squash this year . . .

Fuck the TSA. Fuck them hard. The service they provide is the exact opposite of security. While they are terrorizing moms with babies inside the building, completely unscreened, unchecked, unscanned workers, many of them unskilled labor from who knows where, are crawling all over your plane, inside and out. TSA is a LIE.

This is why I think the privatization of security is going to kill us all. Does anyone remember the lessons learned from Robocop?

I learned one lesson from Robocop. Dynamix II likes to sample Robocop movies.

It was a sad day in Cleveland. Ha so much for Mudede's next Jordan theory.

Nothing sadder than watching Manu Ginobli hold up (another) trophy. And who was that Latino chick hugging Parker?

Damn the Spurs.

Oh and have you noticed how much the Storm sucks?

Oh and Arenas says he needs to make more money now that he has a kid. He made 12.8 million last year. How can anyone be expected to support a kid on 12.8 million? The NBA is running a bracero program.

Dont look now, but despite the loss the M's are for real yo.

Barry Bonds man or god?

Has anyone notice how Gaza has really good density? There is a lot of new construction around the HAMAS headquarters.

All I know is I have a garage filled with half of a giant pyramid, and Saturday will be a great Fremont Solstice Parade!

P.S.: There's a beer garden - with hard cider and local brews - at Gasworks this year, put on by the Fremont Arts Council, the people who actually make and put on the parade.

@Emergency Contraception: They will also not preform abortions on military hospitals overseas. They have to provide them in military hospitals in the states (since it is legal and all...) however this is not extended to bases overseas. They will also not pay for the procedure if you have it on the local economy where you are stationed.

Congress has not ammended this injustice, although it was brought up to a vote a few years ago.

I'm with ya, Will. I hoping Fremont will be cool this Saturday. This'll be my first Soltice thing. We're biking down from Lynnwood.

i'd love to make the risotto; ecg, where'd you get squash blossoms from?

ECB, do you really cook that much? All this talk of you cooking is starting to give you a reputation... and not the kind you want. Some are beginning to compare you to the wholesome apron wearing June Cleaver image... not the radical Wendy O. Williams image that we have come to know and love. :)

Re: Howard Stern. Don't believe anything you read about him, especially in The Post. If it is true, he'll talk about it on Monday morning.

Those of you who are dying to know and don't have Sirius, why not? Old Fashioned radio is like cassettes v CDs.

@ 16: I'll probably get them from my garden, but you can also get them in farmer's markets starting, I think, in July.

@ 17: Yes, I really cook that much.

Someday Erica, I will make jambalaya for you and you will think you have gone to heaven and are enjoying their mass transit with Ann Richards.

@18 - if cassettes had been free and CDs cost money all this time, I probably would have stuck with cassettes. Also I have an FM transmitter, so on the few times I do drive I can listen to my ipod.

Just watched the TSA vid. The mom totally intentional dumped the water on the floor. Definitely not accidental.
