Something Greater Than No Confidence in the Attorney General

posted by on June 11 at 16:15 PM

Looks like Senate Democrats couldn’t get enough of their colleagues to vote no-confidence in Gonzales today. Among their remaining options: Impeachment.

LOL. those cats couldn't be herded towards the kibble dish of no-confidence; there won't be much sucess to move them towards the litter box of impeachment.

One of the things that caught me eye:
Lieberman voted against this too! What the hell!

Arlen Spector, John Sununu, Chuck Hagel, Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe- all ACTUAL republicans- voted in favor.

Why they hell is he still in the Senate?

Because he's Bush's gay lover. That's why Lieberman is still there.

Lieberman needs to go ahead and come out of the republican closet.

I'm sadly to the point that I think nothing is going to change until 2008. Clearly 2006 wasn't the success we had hoped for but if I remember right we were warned not to get our hopes up since we didn't win a veto-proof majority.

Again, this would require the Dems to have balls. On a national level, this is just not the case.

Huh, Gitai?

Since only 40 senators blocked it, and almost every single one was a Republican, how do you blame the Democratic Senators?

No, I don't consider Lieberman a Democrat.
