But has Paris pooped yet?

Posted by Explorer | June 12, 2007 4:39 PM

Hey SLOG how about what one of the readers posted earlier about the attack on a gay on Cap Hill this past week? Or is that not newsworthy? It is posted on the Seattle PI website. But yeah Dan, thank god we have strip clubs.... The Stranger really has sold out haven't they?

I would like to see artist renderings of what the Seattle Center would look like under the three plans. I think the idea of making it a big open public park sounds nice. I'd rather spend tax dollars on that than the Sonics.

I'm so fucking hungry. Mmmm...tacos.

Oh yes, news. Um. Is Paris dead yet?

What do we have to do to get rid of this stupid "no booze in strip clubs" crap? I'm tired of sneaking in a flask.

I'm curious about the gay bashing this past weekend as well. Based on the PI story it looks like it happened in front of The War Room. Does anyone know what they had going on that night? I have personally been harassed walking by that place when Yo Son was at The War Room.

well charles did his part by posting about black african movie portrayals. lord knows he shifted his and the stranger's paradigm of reporting with that entry

Let's be clear here...

The Seattle City Council does not have the power to "give" us Strip Clubs. The Constitution takes care of that, thank you very much.

The City Council has been breaking the law for over 20 years now, and "barely" rectified that situation yesterday.

...that said, I believe that this new zoning law will yet prove unconstitutional.

Note to potential strip club developers. Supposedly Madison has strip club friendly zoning . Fuck Liberty and the Hopvine! I'm going Rick's on Madison!

I'm surprised you didn't even gloat at the almost certain demise of the fun forest (it's removed in all but the do nothing plan).

Is the projected update of Key Arena the guise for making it more attractive to Sonics management? Is the city saying, "This is to make Seattle Center more user friendly for downtowners," but in reality not wanting to say, "We're remodeling Key Arena for the Sonics?" I'm just asking.

Dan, nothing like poking fun at your own staff, I say! haha. This is a great post, seriously. I wish my editor would blog about what we're missing some days.

I'm considering starting a petition to decriminalize prostitution in Seattle. I have time, some money, and various other skills, but absolutely zero experience with this sort of thing.

Anyone want to help?

Yeah, I'm wondering about this. Have you guys fallen asleep at the wheel, or are you distracted THAT much by whatever you're covering?

Posted by Gomez | June 12, 2007 10:05 PM

Does the Seattle Center plan include a skate park? Isn't it supposed to?

Posted by monkey | June 13, 2007 6:46 AM

Hey Sean @13,
Check out if you're interested in getting help on that. If that site's down, just look up Craigslist Review Board and I'm sure you'll find a link to the current version. Plenty of guys on there will be interested in someone who's willing to be the public face for that.

I'm just waiting to see the strip clubs zoned along Stone Way N next to the new grocery store that are right where all the kids walk with their parents to primary, middle and high school (ok, the latter walk by themselves).

Mommy, what's an exotic dancer nude nude nude?
