(The guy in front of us actually asked to be warned when the whistle might be cued up, as OSHA had registered a complaint about the decibels involved.) That said, the M's have been really fortunate in one run games, which often can swing either way due to the most random of circumstances, like that bizarre play at the plate with Vidro and Barrett on Tuesday. So they were due for a couple of game breaking missteps.

Yuni, BTW, was crying in the dugout after yesterday's game. His error ultimately cost the M's the game and he knew it.

Also, condolences to Jose Lopez, who learned before yesterday's game that his brother was killed in an auto accident. His family told him to stay in the US and keep playing, as he wouldn't make it back to his home in Venezuela in time for the funeral.
