Life on the Edge is great. Fun, stylish, and sexy. And Chino(the mustache) rocks!
I have something to say. I am horribly sick with a snot-filled, phlegmy cold and cough, and even though I love film more than a lot of things and even though I have called in sick for the past few days, I am NOT going to any of these amazing movies that I will never get a chance to see again. Because that would be really gross for everyone sitting around me. I am upset about this, damnit. DAMN IT. When ELSE will I have free time + weird movies + other people willing to enjoy them with me? Anyway Annie and other film reviewers, I'm living vicariously through you this weekend.
La Vida Abismal:
I posted a short review and the trailer here:

Tsai Ming-Liang's "I Don't Want to Sleep Alone" - I gotta agree was indeed "unmissable". Easily my favorite thing I've seen in the fest so far. Subtle, humorous, beautifully shot, comtemplative, quiet, but punctuated with great pan-cultural urban environmental-musical outbursts. Amazed.
