It's Angry.

It's not just red.

It's red, white and blue...

The colors of America.
The colors of France.

Showing once again, the never ending friendship forged between our two countries ever since the days of General Lafayette...

...or because Air France has started direct flights from Paris to SeaTac.

pg--And Qwest Field is pink because it has breast cancer...or something like that.

I liked the angry explanation better. I had thoughts of it breaking loose from its base, and going on a rampage through downtown Seattle, shooting death rays from the observation deck.

If it's the Air France thing, I'm going to puke. (even though I like France).

If the Space Needle doesn't fly a Pride flag on Pride day, I think we should complain.

I took some photos last night but was too drunk to figure out how to upload them... now they're at home. It's better in your imagination, anyway.

WHY doesn't the Space Needle web site post decoders for their colored-lights, illegible banners, etc. antics? Dumb.

Vive la France!

Tout le monde est en celebration!

... or maybe they're early for Canada Day?

Flag day is tomorrow... I have a view of the needle from my bedroom and I woke up several times last night and I "thought" I saw different colors, but I also thought I was in a dream. So thanks for posting this Slog so I know that I am sane, and was not dreaming (we won't talk about last week when I jumped out of bed because I thought I felt a 6.0 earthquake and I stayed up for 2 hours watching TV to see if someone said anything about it).
