Well it was pretty obvious to me that's what they were getting at.
could you say that again, while, you know, holding a sword? it would be easier for me to pay attention that way.
you always leave me pleased Mr. Savage
Erica, you need to read some different blogs.
*Reading post and comments*...So creating a commercial showing that guys use sites to search for porn is de facto misogynistic. Got it. Oh yeah, and "Outrage! Outrage! Outrage!"
Jesus H Christ: this is the closest we've come to a sex-positive ad involving sexuality in modern life (yes, yes, it's straight male sexuality, but where did you think it would start?), an ad that admits quite clearly that goes look on the Internet for sex... and it's baaaad, because it shows dancing women with swords.
Would the easily-outraged prefer women in burkas, so they can be completely covered and hopefully non-sexual? How about an ad showing a guy searching for porn where women jump out of the computer and beat him for thinking objectifying thoughts? Gosh, we could think of so many ways in which we make this ad into everything else America is these days, thanks to the Christianists: repressed and dishonest.
It's porn, people, not an etiquette guide.
This is a silly thread.
I actually like the commercial but they really should have made sure that entering "chicks with swords" into their search engine would return something mildly stimulating before the 6th page (and that was just a gallery of the obligatory 80's fantasy art).
Well, Tiffany sure has nice music choices.
But I still don't get why everyone is hatin swords.
Doth protest too much, #5. No one is outraged.
+@5, -@9. grow up, grow a brain, and think with your upstairs head.
