Jack may be legally, even morally right, but for the record, in the past two weeks I have downloaded advanced copies of "Icky Thump," The Beastie Boys "The Mix Up," and Queens of the Stone Age's "Era Vulgaris," all of which I think are great. I still plan on buying them the day they come out. If they weren't worth buying I wouldn't let them take up precious space on my hard drive.
Is this post showing up complete for other people? It isn't for me, and everything after it is bold.
White Stripes LP was downloaded 5000+ times in 3hrs on Oink. fuck jack + his piece of shit "band". white stripes + their fans suck salty ballz.
Same here Aislinn, Slog is going haywire
What do you expect from Freaky Friday?
Piggy makes some good points. Nevertheless, he's an asshole. The world where the White Stripes count as a sucky band is a fantasyland.
How exactly are you estimating Jack's package size? There's been a whole lot of package talk so far on Freaky Friday. I think Savage is pulling the strings behind the scenes.
Sorry, we don't always remember to close our tags. That's why my SIFF pics took so long to get right.
Remember, I before slash I, B before slash B, close your tags, and dance with me!
Haven't heard the album yet, but the song "Icky Thump" f***ing rocks.
One of the comments on her blog reads, "I have taken it upon myself to boycot (sic) all things White Stripes until Jack offers you a sincere apology." Oh poor thing, Jack *almost* made her cry. Word is that she promised not to air Jack's phone call but the station did repeatedly air a reenactment starring Chris Rock. Classy.
People bothered to download White Stripes?
Mr_Friendly, if there ever was an expert on rock star 'battle axes', it's most definitely our kerri here.
I'm sick of both of these icky things. I wish they'd discover blow, heroin, "cheese," sherm, SOMETHING that would push them into a seedy hotel room surrounded by 96 syringes and a 38-special.
Yeah, The Gories were great, greater even (imho) yet the White Stripes have their place, mostly on my wife's iTunes playlists. They have a couple cuts I like, and I am a bit bummed for Jack's work getting jerked around but at the end of the day I doubt it will really mess up his LP/CD sales...
