Slog - Comments on Now Open http://slog.thestranger.com/2007/06/now_open There's a new chain restaurant and bar at the corner of Pike Street and Seventh Avenue downtown, across Pike from Gameworks. It's called the Daily Grill and they have quite a happy hour--lots of snacks, pretty cheap, 4 pm-7 pm weekdays. They also have quite a budget for signage. My cell phone takes notoriously bad pictures, and the glare in that right window doesn't help. I kid you not, there was probably three dozen signs stating that they are now open for dinner on Tuesday. Several on the front windows and door, on the menu, various counter surfaces. This is a very small space for so many signs. It was way over the top.
