Comment by Mr. Poe

It will be covered in kiddie comic relief. It will be riddled with product placement. It will consist of some of the dumbest scenes to ever hit the screen with intentions of being cool. It's...another Michael Bay movie.

Comment by Fuck Your Sentimental Attachments...My Inner Child Smokes Cigarettes and Steels Bicycles.

You are tripping if you think the way that toy looks would translate onto the big screen worth a damn with any attepmt at a literal interpretation.

Michael Bay can definitely do one thing right and that's great big chase scenes. This is a movie about a race of alien robots that turn into cars (which is fucking stupid to begin with), it will look spectacular on the big screen and even better than that, it will be a blockbuster success that pisses all over you dull purists sensibilities.

Ain't shit you can do about it besides refusing to watch it. I dare you to try.

Comment by Mr. Poe, Film Fanatic

Michael Bay can definitely do one thing right and that's great big chase scenes.

I've been a mega film fan since I was five. I've seen thousands upon thousands of films.

One of the dumbest fucking things I've had to put up with throughout the years are retarded ass car chase scenes.

Go get in a car. Right now. Speed down the highway. Wait for the cops.

I want to see how long it lasts, and how much you can actually do. You will either be arrested without ever doing anything remotely awesome, or you will attempt to do one of the many things you will see in a Michael Bay car-chase scene, and you will die. Immediately.

OR: You could jump in the nearest lake and try to swim away, kind of like that stupid bitch a couple weeks ago. But that wouldn't be much of an interesting chase.

Poe, it's just like sex scenes in movies. they rarely if ever move the plot forward in a meaningful way and they are almost always people's favorite part.

And sex scenes never show the after messiness. Nope, they don't show people looking for the cum rag. Its just "ah, that was nice".

I call bullshit on car scene's and sex scene's. Show the mess!

And all those fucking costumes were teh ROXXOR.

6: How do you think nerds get good at building and engineering things? Through lots and lots of practice, dumbass. Some of those costumes were very clever and took a lot of thought and design. My hat is off to anyone who bothers to make something new and interesting.

The last couple costumes were excellent. I liked that the truck managed to actually roll. Especially since he did it right after I thought to myself "Well, yeah, cool, but it'd be cooler if the truck could move." I'm with gfish on this one - those took some serious planning.
