Oh c'mon, doing time at "Club Fed" is about as brutal a punishment as propping your broken leg up on the edge of a ski lodge fire-pit; sure, you can't ski, but, so long as the bartender keeps the hot brandies a'comin', who cares?

Okay, so it's true that Club Fed is not the burning mattress and anal rape hellhole that we toss most criminals into. But, the loss of liberty, and the fact that low paid prison employees will be empowered at any time to perform a body cavity search will be intolerable to a man who believed he was above the law and in control of the levers of power. For at least the next fifteen months, he cannot go where he wishes. The opportunity to make love to his wife is a privelege granted to him based on good behavior, and is restricted to monthly visits. He must shower in groups. He must shit in full view of anyone who may wish to look. His mail is subject to search, seizure, and censorship.

Perhaps with an experience of having his freedom denied, he'll learn to oppose what his boss is trying to do to the rest of us.
